Health-care Organizations to Celebrate Role of Case Managers
Seattle, Wash. (Sept. 22, 2011) – As hospitals navigate the rising tide of
health-care reform laws, hospital executives look to their case managers
to help control costs while maintaining quality and efficiency across
the continuum of patient care.
Case managers are primarily in charge of coordinating patient care and
resources, and serve as a communication link between various health
professionals.
To recognize case managers’ significant contributions to patient care,
national and local health-care facilities will celebrate National Case
Management Week, Oct. 9-15, 2011. Total Living Choices is offering a
collection of complimentary resources to help organizations celebrate
and increase awareness and appreciation for the integral role of case
managers.
“As an important part of a health-care team, case managers are deserving
of recognition for their year-round dedication to patients, families
and staff,” said Total Living Choices President Kyle Salem.
